Ingredients
Milk 2 cups
Sugar 1/4 cup
Salt 1 pinch
Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Starch 1 tbsp
Cream 1/3 cup
Egg yolk 2 cups
Egg 1 cup
Dark chocolate 1 cup
Butter 2 tbsp
Orange extract
Heat the milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat. In a small bowl, whisk the cocoa powder, starch, and cream. Stir this mixture into the warm milk. Beat 2 yolks and an egg and gradually add it to the milk to prevent the egg mixture from setting.
Bring this mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and continue stirring until it becomes creamy. As soon as the liquid begins to thicken, remove from the heat. Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave. Stir and add to the milk mixture, adding a little orange extract.
Let the slightly cooled pudding pour into glasses, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until a crust forms on the surface.
