Ingredients
Raisins 1/2 cup
Cranberries 1/4 cup
Rum 1/4 cup
Bread loaf 200 g
Sugar 1/2 cup
Butter 75 g
Eggs 3
Milk 1.5 cups
Vanilla extract 1.5 tsp
Ice cream
Mix the raisins, cranberries, and rum. Let sit for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish with butter. In a bowl, beat the butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Add the cubed bread loaf, soaked cranberries, raisins, and rum.
Let the bread soak up the liquid for about 5 minutes, then stir again and pour the mixture onto a serving plate or into individual ramekins.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes (check with a toothpick or knife) for the ramekins, or 50-60 minutes for the serving plate. Remove from the oven and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Serve with ice cream.
