Ingredients
Strawberries 4 cups
Lime juice 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 3 tbsp
Orange juice 1/3 cup
Orange zest 1 tsp
Lemon zest 2 tsp
Lime zest 1 tsp
Water 3/4 cup
Sugar 1 cup
In a saucepan, bring the sugar, water, and grated orange, lime, and lemon zest to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Strain and add the lemon, lime, and orange juices.
Pour half of the syrup and juices and half of the strawberries into a blender. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a plastic container and place in the freezer. Puree the remaining strawberries and syrup in a blender. Place the mixture in another container and freeze.
After 6 hours, stir the strawberry ice and freeze again for 3 hours. Scrape the finished strawberry ice into glasses with a spoon and serve with mint leaves.
