Creamy Basil and Garlic Pasta with Burrata

 



Ingredients:


Pasta:

12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)

(340 g)

Salt, for pasta water


Creamy Basil Garlic Sauce:

2 tablespoons olive oil

(30 ml)

3 cloves garlic, minced

(9 g)

1 cup heavy cream

(240 ml)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

(50 g)

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

(15 g)

Salt and pepper, to taste


Topping:

8 oz burrata cheese

(225 g)

Optional: extra basil for garnish


Directions:


Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain,

reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.


Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté garlic 30 seconds.

Add cream, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper; stir until

creamy.


Toss pasta with sauce, adding reserved pasta water if

needed.


Serve topped with burrata and extra basil.
