Surf & Turf Garlic Butter Pasta with Shrimp, Steak & Spinach 🍝🔥

🛒 Ingredients
For the surf & turf:
🥩 1 ribeye or sirloin steak (about 8 oz), cut into thick
cubes
🍤 10–12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
🧂 Salt & pepper, to taste
🌿 1 tsp paprika
🧄 4 garlic cloves, minced
🧈 3 tbsp butter
🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
🌶️ 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
For the pasta:
🍝 200 g (7 oz) spaghetti
🌱 2 cups fresh spinach
🌶️ 1/2 cup roasted red bell pepper strips (jarred or
homemade)
🧈 1 tbsp butter (for finishing)
🧂 Salt to taste
🌿 Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions
Cook the pasta: Boil spaghetti in salted water until al
dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
Sear the steak bites: Season steak cubes with salt and
pepper. Sear in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes
per side until crusty and medium rare. Remove and rest.
Sauté shrimp: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté
garlic. Add shrimp, paprika, red pepper flakes, and a
pinch of salt. Cook 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove.
Toss the pasta: To the pan, add spinach and roasted red
peppers. Sauté briefly, then add drained spaghetti and a
splash of pasta water. Stir in 1 tbsp butter to coat.
Combine & serve: Top the pasta with shrimp and steak
bites. Garnish with parsley or chives and serve hot.
💡 Tips
Want creamier pasta? Add a splash of heavy cream or
grated Parmesan at the end.
Swap steak for chicken or tofu for a variation.
Works great as a date-night or high-protein meal prep
