No Bake German Chocolate Dream Cake 🎂

 



Ingredients:  

- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs  

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted  

- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips  

- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk  

- 1 cup shredded coconut  

- 1 cup chopped pecans  

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract  

- 1/4 teaspoon salt  


Directions:  

1. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker

crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the

mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish

to form an even layer.  

2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips

with the sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly

until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla

extract and salt.  

3. Pour the chocolate mixture evenly over the graham

cracker base in the dish. Sprinkle the shredded coconut

and chopped pecans on top, pressing them lightly into

the chocolate layer.  

4. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or

until the cake is fully set. Slice and serve chilled.

Tips:  

- For a nut-free version, substitute the pecans with

additional shredded coconut or pumpkin seeds for a

similar crunch.  

- Enhance the flavor by adding a layer of caramel sauce

on top before refrigerating, or mix in some instant coffee

granules to the chocolate mixture for a mocha twist.  

- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or fresh berries to

make it lighter and more refreshing.
