Mushroom and Caramelized Onion Pizza

 



Ingredients:


Pizza Base:

1 pre-made pizza dough (12-inch / 300 g)

1 tablespoon olive oil

(15 ml)


Toppings:

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

(100 g)

1 large onion, thinly sliced

(150 g)

1 tablespoon butter

(15 g)

1/2 teaspoon salt

(3 g)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

(1 g)

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

(150 g)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

(25 g)

Optional: fresh thyme or arugula


Directions:


Preheat oven to 450°F / 230°C.


Sauté onions in butter over medium heat 10–12 minutes

until caramelized. Sauté mushrooms 5 minutes with salt

and pepper.


Roll out pizza dough, brush with olive oil. Spread onions

and mushrooms on top. Sprinkle with mozzarella and

Parmesan.


Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is

melted.


Garnish with fresh thyme or arugula and serve warm.
