Irreversible (1)

They met by chance, they were both young, had just gotten the internet, were looking for friends and found each other. It was quite a funny story, but it happened slowly.

They lived happily side by side, enjoying the moments they shared together, and were certain that no person or force could destroy this feeling. But he knew... he knew that if this story didn't end happily, he too would never be happy again. He knew that if it did, it would be his fault. It's time to introduce our heroes. She was a young student in her first year of high school, her name was Kasia, a beautiful girl with the smile of an angel. He was older, just finishing school, and as he himself believed, he was no one special, he didn't like to stand out, he preferred to work in the shadows, with people but at the same time away from them. Even though their future was in doubt, they decided to be together, taking on the challenge of living together in such an unruly company. She was a diligent student, well-mannered and a very nice girl, for him the perfect being, and probably only She can pull him out of the depression he was in due to loneliness and fix him. When they met, he knew she was the one, that she would be the woman with whom he would be happy, and how he hoped she would be happy too. She was also lonely, she had become convinced that she was unattractive and began to withdraw into herself, but he did not realize that she had long since become the object of a certain boy's fantasy. He noticed her by accident, he was walking with his friends for an unknown purpose, she was playing with a friend on the street, she was young, much younger than they had met, he probably wouldn't have paid her any attention, there are dozens of girls like her, maybe prettier, but for some reason he noticed her, this modest girl who thought she would never be loved, but she became so interesting that he started fantasizing about her, imagining how It would be so nice to have her in my arms and kiss those beautiful lips. However, these fantasies remained dreams. Even though he thought about her for a long time, he eventually forgot. They hadn't known each other before, they'd never spoken. He was too modest and shy to approach and talk to a stranger, especially one he liked. She wasn't the first person he'd liked, but there was something about this one. He'd never felt it before. If someone had looked at their lives, they might have said it was love at first sight. Hehe, maybe so...

Years passed, and he'd practically forgotten. Until, on a beautiful, sunny day, October 11th, he was sitting on the internet, bored, searching aimlessly. Two girls texted him simultaneously, starting the conversation with the same words: "Hi, shall

we click?"

he saw that they knew each other because such things don't happen, not to people like him - he thought

He was in a quandary; he'd never been good at making new friends, and now he thought they were playing games with him. He chatted with one and then the other, finding out their names were Ania and Kasia. He asked Kasia to forgive him because he couldn't talk to too many girls without neglecting anyone. He asked her to add him to her contacts and promised to get in touch, but she didn't seem to believe him.

But he waited a few days and finally wrote:

Hi, do you remember me? We were supposed to talk, but I couldn't then

. Yes, it's good that you contacted me. I thought you'd forgotten.

They talked for a few hours, but he didn't learn much about her. She was shy, and on top of that, the freshman class was organizing a "cat party" approaching. She was afraid that if he found out who she was, he'd "trick" her into some kind of prank and she'd have to embarrass herself in front of the whole school. Although he assured her he wouldn't, he couldn't even find out what class she was from. They had a great time talking together, like old friends, getting to know each other slowly.

Finally, he managed to persuade her to send a picture of herself. She said she wouldn't send one because she was ugly, he wouldn't like her, and he wouldn't even want to talk to her.

"So, is that you?"

he remembered immediately. He'd met that modest girl he'd liked a few years ago.

"Do you know me?"

"Yes, I mean, no, but you caught my eye once, I don't know why

." "How so?"

They talked for days, he explaining to her how he'd noticed her, though he didn't know why he'd noticed her in particular.

Finally, he decided he wanted to meet.

It was a big surprise for her; she hadn't expected such a reaction; after all, she considered herself unattractive. At first, he hadn't paid attention to her appearance. They got along well, so it was a good reason to stay friends, because he hadn't thought about them being together at the time. Over time, he liked her more and more and discovered she was a beautiful woman.

Their first meeting might seem ridiculous to some. They were both terribly self-conscious, though he tried not to show it. He tried to hold a conversation, even though he'd never been able to before. She was so embarrassed she wouldn't even sit on the bench next to him. Then things got better. They began to feel less self-conscious around each other, she let him hug her and gently cuddle her. Over time, he began to wonder if they should try being together

—he got along well with her, so maybe something would come of it.

Now the hard part was waiting for him. He was afraid of rejection, afraid to even ask girls about it because he hadn't had much luck in relationships before and usually didn't. It just sort of fell into place.

He waited a little longer, invited her over, and started to bond with her. Finally, he decided—it was today or never.

"Kasia, would you like to go out with me?

" "I don't know.

" That was probably what he was most afraid of. For him, it felt like a rejection. For the next two days, they spent entire days together talking about it. She was afraid he would hurt her; she didn't believe it could be true, she thought he was trying to take advantage of her. Finally, after many tears had flowed down their cheeks, they reached an understanding.

"Kasia, are you ready to try being with me? I know you'll probably cry many times because of me because I'm not perfect, but I want to try." "

It'll be okay."

It was Friday, October 26, 2004, the greatest day of his life.
