Ingredients
Potatoes 1000 g
Onion 1
Bacon 200 g
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
20% Cream 100 ml
Thyme 10 g
Salt to taste
Tbsp Pepper
Preheat oven to 170°C. Slice the peeled potatoes into thin 3 mm thick slices. Slice the onion into half rings.
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the potato slices in the dish, alternating with the onion half rings. Pour the cream over the potato accordion, season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 170°C.
Finely dice the bacon and fry in a hot skillet until golden brown.
Remove the potatoes from the oven.
Sprinkle the fried bacon over the potatoes, drizzle with the remaining bacon fat, and season with thyme petals. Return the potatoes to the oven for another 5 minutes.
