Ingredients
200g ground beef
6 tomatoes
100g rice
1/2 onion
3 cloves garlic
5 sprigs thyme
1 sprig parsley
salt to taste
pepper to taste
To prepare the ground beef: cook the rice and mix it with the ground beef. Add crushed garlic and finely diced onion.
Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and remove the cores with a spoon.
Add finely chopped garlic and thyme to the ground beef, along with any remaining tomato pulp.
Stuff the tomatoes and pierce them in several places with a skewer.
Place the stuffed tomatoes in a baking dish and cover with the cut-off tops. Place the thyme sprigs in the dish. Add a small amount of water and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
