Canned green peas
Canned corn
Carrot 1
Bell pepper 1
Onion 1
Garlic 1 clove
Vegetable oil 50 ml
Salt to taste
Spices to taste
Water 2 cups
Sauté finely chopped onion, 1-2 cloves of garlic, and grated carrots in vegetable oil.
When the vegetables are ready, add the rinsed rice and fry for a few minutes without water. This step ensures that each grain of rice is coated in oil, which will result in fluffy rice.
Then add the chopped pepper, stir, and pour in boiling water. Cook until the rice is done. Add the canned peas and corn, draining the liquid first, 5-10 minutes before the rice is done. Mix everything together, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the peas and corn are heated through.
