Ingredients
for the dough:
4 cups flour
1 packet dry yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
1.5 cups water
1/2 cup sunflower oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
For the filling:
500 g cabbage
2 onions
Salt to taste
Finely shred the cabbage, finely chop the onion, add salt, and mix everything together. Simmer in a frying pan until tender. Thoroughly stir the yeast in 1.5 cups warm water, add 2 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, and let sit in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Then add 0.5 cups sunflower oil, 4 cups flour, and 1 level teaspoon of salt to this mixture. Knead the dough and let it rise in a warm place.
Make the cabbage-filled pies, place them on a baking sheet, brush the tops with a raw egg, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
