Italian Pizza with Bacon



Ingredients
Flour 520 g
Fast-acting dry yeast 5 g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Olive oil 30 ml
Tomato sauce 400 ml
Red onion 2 pcs
Bacon 300 g
Mozzarella cheese 300 g

Sift the flour into a large bowl, add the salt and yeast. Pour 300 ml of water mixed with oil into the well in the center and stir, gradually scraping the flour from the edges. Knead vigorously until you have a soft dough that comes away from your hands, then let it rise in a warm, humid place for an hour.

When the dough has doubled in size, you can start making the pizza. Roll the dough into a round flatbread on a floured surface and spread the tomato sauce on top.

Arrange the sliced onion rings on the surface. Place thin slices of bacon and mozzarella balls on top of the onions. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes.
