Ham Pie



Ingredients
For the dough:
Flour 250 g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Butter 125 g
Water 4 tbsp
Egg 1

For the filling:
Ham 300 g
Onions 2
Herbs 1 bunch
Egg 3
Cheese 250 g
Cream 200 g
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg

For the dough, knead the flour, salt, chunks of butter, 4 tbsp of water, and the egg until smooth. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for an hour.

Cut the ham into cubes, peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the herbs and shake off excess water. Pluck and finely chop. Place all ingredients in a bowl. Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Beat the eggs, gradually adding the cheese and cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking pan with vegetable oil. Dust a work surface with flour and roll out the dough.

Place it in the baking pan, leaving a 3-4 cm border. Bake the base in the oven for 10 minutes (center). Remove from the oven and layer the ham and onion mixture and cream cheese into the base, alternating layers. Bake for 50-60 minutes at 180°C.
