Fish Meatballs with Mushroom Sauce



Ingredients
Cod (fillet) 400 g
White breadcrumbs 4 tbsp
Salt
Onions 2
Tomatoes in their own juice 400 g
Porcini mushrooms 200 g
Vegetable oil
Pepper
Herbs

Peel the onion and blend or finely grate it. Add the fish fillet and blend until the meat is chunky.

Add breadcrumbs, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly. Chop the mushrooms and fry in vegetable oil.

Add the tomatoes with their juices and a little water. Simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes, then bring to a boil. Form the meatballs into equal-sized balls, place them in the sauce, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes.

 Turn the meatballs over and simmer for a little longer. Serve hot with potatoes or rice. Garnish with herbs.
