Fish Steaks with Tomatoes



Ingredients
4 whitefish fillets
6 tomatoes
1 sprig of basil
Lemon juice
4 pieces butter

Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice and leave in a roasting pan for 30 minutes. Quarter the tomatoes and peel them. Finely chop the basil.

Place the tomatoes on top of the fish steaks and sprinkle with basil. Top with pieces of butter and wrap the steaks in foil.

Bake in the oven at 200°C for 25 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and begins to fall apart. Serve garnished with fresh basil.

Serve with boiled new potatoes, green peas, and carrots. You can replace the lemon juice with lime or orange juice, and the tomatoes with cream. Each serving of steak should be wrapped in foil. Serve with the foil unwrapped, but leave it on.
