Potato and Salted Cod Cutlets


Ingredients
Cod 1000 g
Potatoes 1000 g
Salt
Pepper
Bay leaf 1 bunch
Parsley 1 bunch
Mint 2 bunches
Lemon 2 eggs
Red chili peppers 2 vegetables
Vegetable oil
Flour

Soak the salted cod overnight in milk or water with the bay leaf. Boil for 10-15 minutes and begin removing the bones. The second step is boiling and straining the potatoes.

The third step is mashing the potatoes. Next, mash the cooked fish, season with salt and pepper, add the zest of two lemons, mint, and chopped parsley.

 The penultimate step is adding mashed potatoes, eggs, and chopped chili pepper to the fish. Next, mix and form patties, then coat them in flour. The final step is deep-frying the patties.

Serve the dish, drizzling it with lemon juice and halved lemons.
