Description of the observed creature

The creature was covered in dark, bristly fur. It appeared to me to be almost uniformly gray, with sparse lighter hues. The lush fur, the slowly descending darkness, and the fear that gripped me nonetheless prevented me from making out the finer details of its build, but the short distance and the backdrop of the light-colored stone path allowed me to make out its general outline with relative clarity. It stood sideways to me, its head turned toward the fields, seeming to be watching for something.

It was certainly over 2 meters tall, possibly around 2.5 meters or even 3 meters, which I judged based on the difference in height compared to the man I'd just seen. Its legs were long and powerful, and at first glance, clearly animalistic, with a characteristic canine structure. They terminated in small feet that I couldn't clearly see. Above the legs, a heavily furred, not too long, stocky tail protruded from the rear, slightly raised. The body was short and hunched, bristling with short bristles on the back. On the left side, slightly forward, hung a long paw, extending halfway down the leg, ending in fingers clearly similar to human fingers. However, I didn't see any nails or claws at the tips.

I should note that the creature's hands were disproportionately large, and although I can't quite recall this detail, I believe they were, unlike the rest of its body, only slightly furred, and I'm certain they were slightly lighter in color. I didn't manage to observe the other paw at the time, but as the creature walked away from me, I saw that it had another identical paw on the right side of its body, also ending in a hand. The head was proportionally small and clearly resembled a dog's or wolf's head, slightly elongated but shorter than a wolf's, and with a pointed tip, topped by long, upward-pointing, bristly ears. The front of the head, which could be called the creature's "face," like the hands, was visibly less furred and slightly lighter in color, and at its top was a distinct bulge, undoubtedly a brow ridge concealing deep-set eyes, but that's just my opinion. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the eyes. The creature's neck and nape were hidden by a bristling mane. I failed to notice or remember any additional structural details.
