Chocolate Donuts



Ingredients
Milk 250 ml
Flour 420 g
Sugar 40 g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Soda 1/2 tsp
Egg yolk 3 pcs
Cocoa powder 20 g
Dry yeast 10 g
Butter 50 g
Vegetable oil 1 g

For the glaze:
Icing sugar 150 g
Water 4 tbsp

Place all ingredients except the butter in a bowl and knead the dough. Start by adding less flour; the dough will be sticky at first, but the cocoa powder will help it take shape.

So, don't rush the flour addition. Start adding the butter in chunks and form the dough into a ball. Place it in a bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise at room temperature for 1-2 hours.

 Knead the dough and roll it out to a thickness of 1 cm. Use a donut cutter or a glass to cut out the doughnuts, and make a hole in the center with a small shot glass. Place the donuts on a baking sheet, cover again with a towel, and let rise for a while.

Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar and water. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap while the donuts fry.

Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the donuts on both sides (about a minute per side). Place a paper towel on a plate and pat each donut dry to remove excess oil.

Let the donuts cool slightly, then dip each one in the bowl of glaze and place it on a wire rack to allow it to set slightly.
