Alleged Bigfoot baby filmed

On November 25, 2005, the Times Herald-Record revealed that it possessed an eight-year-old videotape of a supposed Bigfoot baby. The footage, accidentally recorded in 1997 by camper Doug Pridgen, shows two hairy figures climbing a tree near Lambo Lake in New York. After years of reviewing the footage, his girlfriend spotted the mysterious creatures, sparking interest not only from local media but also from conspiracy theorists and those seeking the unknown.

November 25, 2005 - The Times Herald-Record newspaper announced that it has in its possession an eight-year-old videotape showing a pair of young, hairy hominins climbing a tree near Lambo Lake near Route 44/45 in New York State.

The alleged baby Bigfoot footage was accidentally captured in 1997 by a camper identified as Doug Pridgen, who was filming a friend swimming in a lake. While the tape was being converted to a computer several years ago, Pridgen's girlfriend spotted two ape-like figures, one smaller and one larger, cavorting in the trees about 100 feet (about 30 meters) behind Pridgen's friend.

"At first we thought they were big monkeys, but what would monkeys be doing in New York? They were swinging from tree to tree and going up and down with great ease," Pridgen said.
