It appears as a roughly 1.5-meter-tall, bipedal, human-like creature with small wings, sharp red eyes, a narrow beak-like snout with sharp fangs, limbs tipped with three large talons, a long, dagger-like tongue, and bony protrusions on its spine. This fantastical creature can fly and cause considerable damage to livestock, but it's also not afraid to attack humans.
Some theories suggest that the chupacabra slices its prey's throat with its fangs and then inserts its tubular tongue into the opening, sucking blood from the body's interior. The chupacabra also reportedly emits a repulsive sulfurous odor. There are numerous reports of sightings of this creature, and many people claim it actually exists. We have numerous blurry photos, drawings, and sketches of this creature. However, the animal has yet to be captured by scientists.
The chupacabra often deviates significantly from the classic human-shaped image. It is often depicted as an alien or a dog-like creature with long, saber-like fangs and bony protrusions on its back. The latter comparison may be closest to the truth when it comes to Puerto Rico. The first reports date back to before 1973, but reports have intensified since 1991.

- definitely discredits cryptozoology.
I'm not going to go into detail about the chupacabra here, as most of you are probably familiar with it, but I do want to provide a brief overview of its origin story.
