Ingredients
for the dough:
Dark chocolate 100 g
Cocoa powder 50 g
Eggs 2
Flour 200 g
Sugar 150 g
Coffee 180 ml
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Vegetable oil 90 ml
Vanilla to taste
For the frosting:
Fat sour cream 300 g
Icing sugar 100 g
To prepare the dough, chop the chocolate with a knife, mix with the cocoa powder and hot coffee, and whisk until smooth.
In a mixer bowl, beat the eggs with sugar, add vanilla and butter, and whisk. Add the chocolate mixture and mix the dough.
Add the sifted flour and baking soda, whisk until smooth, and transfer to a baking pan lined with baking paper. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
Let the finished cake cool completely, trim off any uneven top with a knife, and crumble it into crumbs. To make the frosting, beat the sour cream with the powdered sugar for a few seconds at high speed. Place the cake on a serving plate, top with the frosting, and sprinkle with crumbs. Refrigerate the cake for a couple of hours and serve.
