Monkey Cupcakes


Ingredients
For the dough:
Sugar 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Eggs 2
Vanilla extract 2 tsp
Flour 1.5 cups
Baking powder 1.7 tsp
Cocoa powder 1 tbsp
Milk 1/2 cup

For the glaze:
Icing sugar 2.7 cups
Cocoa powder 6 tbsp
Butter 6 tbsp
Condensed milk 5 tbsp
Vanilla extract 1 tsp

For assembly:
Cookies
Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line muffin tins with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, beat together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla.

Combine the flour, cocoa, and baking powder, add to the sugar mixture, and mix well. Then pour in the milk and mix again.

Sieve the sugar and cocoa in a medium bowl and set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the butter until smooth, then gradually add the sugar mixture, alternating with the condensed milk. Add the vanilla and mix again.

Dust the cupcakes with chocolate icing. Place small cookies on top to make the monkeys' faces and ears. Draw the mouth, nose, and eyes with icing. Give the monkeys bangs with grated chocolate.
