Feta Bread with Walnuts



Ingredients
Feta Cheese 100g
Olives 50g
Walnuts 100g
Flour 375g
Dry Yeast 7g
Salt 1 tsp
Egg White 1 egg
Cream 125g
Olive Oil 5 tbsp
Egg Yolk 1 egg

Finely grate the feta cheese. Cut the olives into small pieces, and coarsely grind the walnuts. Reserve 2 tablespoons of ground walnuts for sprinkling.

Grease and flour a 25x11 cm baking dish.

Preheat oven to 180°C.

For the dough: Sift the flour into a bowl and mix with the yeast.

 Add the remaining dough ingredients (feta cheese, green olives, walnuts, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 egg white, heavy cream, and 5 tablespoons olive oil) and mix with a mixer for 2-3 minutes on low speed, then on high speed for about 5 minutes, until a smooth dough forms.

Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place until it has noticeably doubled in size. Lightly flour the dough, remove it from the bowl, roll it out, and place it in the pan.

Brush the dough with egg yolk and sprinkle with the prepared nuts.

Leave it for 15 minutes, then place the pan in the lower third of the oven to bake. Bake for about 35 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

After baking, remove the bread from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
