Carrot 2
Tomato juice 100 ml
Round rice 100 g
Olive oil 100 ml
Parsley
Salt
Black peppercorns

This simple and delicious dish from Greek cuisine is very interestingly prepared despite the simplicity of its ingredients.
Shred the cabbage, not too finely; coarsely chopping is even better. Then dice the onion (also coarsely) and slice the carrots.
Heat the olive oil or butter and sauté the carrots and onions until translucent. Then add the finely chopped green onions and stir. Then add the shredded cabbage and fry over very high heat until the cabbage is golden brown.
When the cabbage is browned, add the tomato juice and season with spices. Mix well and reduce the heat to low. Add the pre-rinsed round rice and add water, twice the volume of the rice. Cover and simmer until the rice is tender.
Sprinkle the finished dish with parsley and freshly ground pepper.
