Layered Potato Casserole



Ingredients
Potatoes 1000 g
Eggs 2
Minced Meat 400 g
Marinated Mushrooms 250 g
Carrots 1
Onions 2
Butter 20 g
Sour Cream 3 tbsp
Cheese 30 g
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, drain completely, and mash. Cool. Saute the minced meat and 1 finely chopped onion in a frying pan until tender, season with salt and pepper.

Cut the mushrooms into strips, peel and finely grate the carrots, and finely chop the onion. Lightly fry everything in vegetable oil, season with salt and pepper. Add 1 egg and 1 egg white to the mashed potatoes and stir. 

In a baking dish greased with butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs or semolina, add 1/3 of the mashed potatoes, then a layer of ground meat, another layer of mashed potatoes, then the mushrooms and carrots, and top with the remaining mashed potatoes.

Whisk the yolk, butter, and sour cream until smooth. Season with a little salt and brush the top of the casserole with this mixture, then sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. When serving, drizzle with sour cream or melted butter.
