Ingredients
for the dough:
Flour 250 g
Egg 1
Cottage cheese 250 g
Butter 50 g
Sugar 100 g
Vanilla sugar 10 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 pinch
Vegetable oil
For the filling:
Berries 400 g
Icing sugar 1 tbsp
First, prepare the curd dough.
Melt the butter over low heat. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve to remove any grains.
Combine the sifted flour with the baking powder and salt. Add the cottage cheese and butter to the flour and mix well.
Beat the egg, sugar, and vanilla sugar with a whisk or a mixer. Add the sugar-egg mixture to the curd mixture and knead the dough.
Sort the berries, wash, peel, dry, and dust with powdered sugar.
Divide the dough in half and roll out two layers.
Place the first layer of dough in a greased baking pan, making a rim around the edge. Arrange the berries on the dough, reserving a few for decoration. Then place the second layer of dough on top of the berries and decorate with berries.
Bake the berry pie with curd dough in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
This berry pie with curd dough is delicious both hot and cold.
