Owl Cookies

Ingredients

Butter 350g

Sugar 1 cup

Vanilla sugar 2 tsp

Flour 3.5 cups

Salt 1/4 tsp

Walnuts 1 cup

Chocolate drops

Almonds

Preheat oven to 170°C. Mix butter and sugar thoroughly. Add vanilla and mix again thoroughly. Add flour and salt. Mix again.

When the dough is smooth and begins to form a ball, remove it from the pan and place it on a flat surface, evenly sprinkled with flour. Roll it out into a flat circle about a centimeter thick.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the cookie cutters on it, and moisten the area where you want to glue the eyes and beaks before gluing them.

 Glue on eye sockets, press the pupils on top (press them in as deep as possible), and then use almond halves to create beaks underneath. You can also use a knife to cut out the owl's feet and wings.
