Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
10 g vanilla sugar
100 g margarine
250 g flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup kefir
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cherries
Whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the margarine, vegetable oil, and kefir and beat again. Beat briefly. Add the flour and baking powder and beat until there are no lumps. The batter will be creamy. Place the batter in a greased pan. I press parchment paper between the bottom and the sides to prevent leaks.
Arrange the cherries on top, hollow side up, to prevent the juices from leaking. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 35-45 minutes. Adjust the temperature according to your oven.
When finished, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar.
