Chocolate Snowflake Cookies

Ingredients
200 g chocolate
500 g flour
225 g butter
225 g sugar
3 eggs
salt

For the glaze:
2 egg whites
500 g powdered sugar
5 ml lemon juice

Melt the chocolate over low heat and mix it with the softened butter. Separately, beat the eggs and sugar, add a pinch of salt and flour. Then add the chocolate and butter mixture and mix thoroughly. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead gently. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm.

Using a cookie cutter, cut out the cookies from the dough and carefully place them on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. Remove the baking sheet and let the cookies cool.

Next, prepare the icing. To do this, sift the powdered sugar, beat the egg whites until foamy and fluffy, and gradually add the lemon juice and sifted powdered sugar, whisking constantly until the mixture becomes sticky. Then, fill a pastry bag with the icing and pipe stars onto the cookies using a fine tip.

The icing shouldn't be too hard, as it won't adhere to the cookies, nor should it be too runny, as it will spread.

Then draw lines from the center of the star to the ends to create a snowflake. After icing, place the cookies in an airtight container.

Enjoy!
