Ingredients
Flour 1.5 cups
Sugar 1.5 cups
Eggs 5
Oranges 2
Icing sugar
Whisk the eggs and sugar in a mixer, then add the flour and mix well.
Grease a baking dish with butter and pour in 1/3 of the batter. Peel and core the oranges, peel the segments, and cut them in half. Place half of the peeled oranges on the batter, pour in another 1/3 of the batter, top with the remaining oranges, and pour in the remaining batter.
Place the dish in a preheated oven and bake for 20-30 minutes at 180°C. Check for doneness with a match or toothpick.
Dust the finished charlotte with powdered sugar.
