Herring and Red Onion Salad



Ingredients
Herring (fillet) 200 g
Eggs 3
Red onion 1
Lettuce 1 bunch
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Vinegar 9% 1 tbsp
Mustard 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Tear the lettuce leaves by hand. Cut the eggs into quarters or wedges, as you prefer. Cut the herring fillet into small pieces. Cut the onion into half rings (to prevent the onion from becoming bitter, add salt and rub it between your hands).

Make the dressing: mix the vegetable oil, vinegar, and mustard. Combine the herring, eggs, onion, and lettuce.
Pour the dressing over the salad (dressing before serving is important).
