Pear Salad with Mustard Dressing

Ingredients
Pear 200 g
Lettuce 100 g
Leek 70 g
Dijon Mustard 1 tsp
Olive Oil 2 tbsp
Wine Vinegar 1 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp

Slice the pear into very thin strips. Slice the leek (use only the white part) into thin rings. 50-70 g is about 10 cm of stem. Red onion works well as a substitute for the leek. Half a large onion will suffice.

For the dressing, combine the oil, mustard, wine vinegar, and salt. Place the lettuce leaves, pear, and onion rings in a bowl. Drizzle with the dressing, toss, and serve immediately.

If you need to prepare this salad in advance, pour the dressing over it, but toss it just before serving. Otherwise, the juice released from the pear will make the salad too watery.

Enjoy!
